2008 National NeighborWorks® Week a Success
Rockingham Area Community Land Trust and local community members teamed together for the event. Two events were held on June 7th at Southview Housing in Springfield, VT.  The first event Click on Image for Full-size Viewinvolved preparing areas for construction of a playground, basketball half-court and a mini sitting park. A temporary basketball pole and backboard was erected until a permanent court is put in place. The mini-park will continue to be a project to be enjoyed by the residents of Southview Apartments throughout the summer. A natural playground planning has begun with the anticipated installation date around fall 2008. RACLT participated in NeighborWorks® Paints as the second event of the day.
