Proctorsville Green Townhouses Community Tour - December 8th

Cavendish, VT – Rockingham Area Community Land Trust announces a tour of the Proctorsville Green townhouses on December 8th, 10 AM to 12 noon. Come see this beautiful building while it is under construction. This is an excellent chance to get a sneak peek at this wonderful opportunity. Interested community members and prospective buyers are welcome. The townhouses will be ready for sale in February of 2008. 

These architect-designed homes offer the finest in village living at an affordable price. The Proctorsville Green town homes have many amenities including modern appliances, laundry area, ample closet space, and a private storage room. 

The town homes are fully integrated into the Proctorsville village. Homeowners will be able to stroll down the street for coffee and a pastry, pick up the mail, or meet friends on the green. The cost to eligible households is $150,000. RACLT is excited to be able to offer these homes at a price substantially below market value through our partnership with the Town of Cavendish, Vermont Housing and Conservation Board, and other agencies. In exchange for the grant buyers will share a portion of appreciation when they sell the home, keeping them affordable for future generations. Buyers will have access to below-market rate VHFA or USDA Rural Development mortgages. In addition, buyers may qualify for up to $10,000 in additional grants or 0% loans to help with closing or down-payment costs.
